Dear Autumn, I’ve missed you dearly

Autumn leave, hat and coffee - Dear Autumn, I've missed you

Dancing away with the sun on my face, in the middle of a field, with my best friends and the amazing music festival atmosphere has become a memory far, far away. But today it hit me, the cold that is. Summer may be the season to be free and wild, but Autumn is here and I could not be happier.

Although the dark Autumn mornings make it even harder for me to depart from my warm snuggly marshmallow bed. The thought of layers of knitwear, hot drinks and crunchy leaves excites me.

Getting warm, comfy and cosy in Autumn also means welcoming the return of not shaving our legs or painting our toe nails!

Taking the dog for a walk wearing your usual parka coat. The sun still appearing enough for you to wear your favourite Raybans. The burning yellow, orange and red hue of the trees and that crunch of leaves beneath your feet.

This season also bring lots of other amazing things, berry shaded lipsticks, chunky knits, faux fur trims and ankle boots which are my style go-to’s for Autumn.

The slow cooker becomes my new best friend. There is nothing nicer than coming home from a long day at work knowing you’ve not got to cook and you’ve got a sexy stew ready to eat.

Halloween and all the amazing makeup tutorials begin! Who remember’s Shonagh Scotts Disney series last year? Incredible!

Autumn also welcomes the return of The Walking Dead! I cannot wait. TV this time of the year is my absolute favourite! Just so you all know, other shows coming back include Scream Queens and Arrow. While you’re at it get yourself an Amazon Prime account. If you’re a motor lover like I am you’ll be excited for the arrival of Clarkson, Hammond and May’s ‘The Grand Tour’.

Oh and one more thing, Pumpkin Spice Latte’s.

Is Autumn your favourite season? What do you love most about it?

Let me know in the comments

Honestly, Soph
